About Anchanto
Anchanto sells order management and warehouse management software to online retailers and third-party logistics companies (3PLs). I worked on its blog through Syft Media.
The work came in two kinds. Some articles were new and needed heavy research. Others were existing articles that still ranked but read like they were out of date.
New articles
| Article | What it covers |
|---|---|
| France e-commerce industry guide | About 5,200 words on the French market, consumer behaviour, platforms, last-mile delivery, regulation and opportunities for 3PLs, citing more than 20 sources |
| Omnichannel vs multichannel e-commerce | Definitions, a ten-row comparison table covering technology, data and fulfilment, the pros and cons of each and when to choose which, plus a case study of a retailer with 100+ stores |
| O2O marketing | Six strategies, from buy online and pick up in store to hyperlocal ads, with statistics from McKinsey, Invoca, Celerant, CapitalOne Shopping and Verified Market Reports |
The France guide
This guide had more numbers than any other article I wrote for Anchanto, and I researched, wrote and edited it in five days. One source values the market at $88.8B in 2025 and projects $128.4B by 2030, a 10.65% CAGR (Mordor Intelligence). Another puts total online sales at €175.3B in 2024, up 9.6% (Ecommerce Europe).
Those two figures look far apart, and the sources explain why. One counts retail e-commerce, and the other counts all online sales. Ecommerce Europe’s figure for products alone is €66.9B. So the guide gives each number with its source and year.
Consumer habits, like payment preferences and how shoppers discover products, come from surveys. The compliance section cites European Commission pages on the Digital Services Act and the EU AI Act.
Rewrites of older articles
Two of the five pieces were existing Anchanto articles that needed a rewrite, the cross-docking guide and the inventory turnover guide. Many companies have older posts that still get impressions but read like they were written for a different audience. A good rewrite keeps what works, replaces what’s weak and protects the rankings the page already has.
| Article | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Cross-docking, meaning, process and benefits | Types of cross-docking, the key parts of the process, benefits, challenges and how it compares with traditional warehousing and dropshipping |
| Inventory turnover ratio | The formula, two ways to calculate it, worked examples using Kroger and Nike, and benchmarks by industry |
How I worked
Each assignment came with a brief and guidelines covering the topic, the audience and the rules for the page. Before writing, I read the related articles already on Anchanto’s site, so mine matched their voice and didn’t repeat what they’d covered.
Every article draws on market research firms, trade bodies, official pages and named industry studies, and each one mentions the Anchanto product that fits the topic. Before delivering, I checked every figure, name and link against its source again. For the France guide, that meant opening all 23 citations.
