I wrote 52 long-form articles and built the free templates for Kladana's cloud ERP blog, which grew from about 500 to about 11,000 monthly organic visits.

About Kladana and its readers
Kladana sells cloud ERP software to small businesses in India. Its readers are mostly business owners and accountants. They search for the documents GST requires, like delivery challans, e-way bills and invoices, and for help managing stock, money and production. Most of the pages they found were thin or out of date.
Kladana’s team chose the topics and handled the rest of the SEO. I wrote the articles, built the templates and designed the graphics.
What I wrote
Before writing, I went through Kladana’s product documents and joined onboarding calls to learn how the product works and how the company talks about it. Over 15 months, I wrote 52 articles across seven topics.

Templates and graphics
Kladana’s briefs asked for downloadable templates, so I built each one in Excel, Google Sheets, Word and PDF. Graphics weren’t in the brief. I added screenshots, step-by-step visuals and infographics anyway, because they made the pages easier to follow.
- The Excel invoice template page has 13 templates, including simple, GST, proforma, commercial, recurring and freelance invoices. Each one comes in Excel and Google Sheets, with a step-by-step guide and screenshots.
- The delivery challan template page has 9 downloads in Excel, Google Sheets, Word and PDF, along with the GST rules the document must follow.
- The e-way bill format page has 5 formats and a walkthrough of the government portal.
How I wrote each page
Someone searching for “delivery challan format” wants the file, so the download goes at the top of the page, before the explanation.
Most articles start with the reader’s problem and mention Kladana near the end, after the reader has their answer.
Comparison articles, like 20 best warehouse management systems, first explain how to judge a tool and then compare the options side by side.
Compliance articles quote the rules directly. The delivery challan page cites Rule 55 of the CGST Rules. The e-way bill page covers the ₹50,000 limit, how long a bill stays valid and the penalties for getting it wrong.
I wrote one to two articles a week and met Kladana’s team regularly to keep up with their priorities and product changes.
SEO impact
Monthly organic traffic to the blog grew from about 500 to about 11,000.
